Love your wig Ali - it really suits you. Mum and I are pretty sure we stayed in the same room a number of years ago. We remember the long walk and the stairs. Great location but we weren’t all that keen on the accommodation, however we made the most of it. Loved being able to see the cruise terminal and pretending we were going on a cruise! It would be wonderful to go on a cruise in Sydney!!
having alopecia I've been wearing wigs for 30 years, I get 2 a year on average ( never the same) My husband used to say he married a blonde, a red head, a brunette and every colour inbetween 😂 But I must say I really love that on you Ali!
totally stoked you have done this video guys as we was thinking of maybe booking this same apartment for our feb 90s cruise. well now i have watched it im a bit concerned about the hill and stairs to reach the property, if i will have physical issues getting there and having the bathroom upstairs would be an issue. thank you so much for sharing as i think we may have to look for somewhere else. we was also looking at ovolo woolloommoo it looks stunning
We stayed at the Mariners in Wooloomooloo on the las Sydney cruise. Nothing special but clean and breakfast and coffee were included. We would have gone back there this time but it was full. With the flights, airport parking, taxis etc. it all adds up when we're cruising from Sydney so we try to keep the hotel costs down. Especially as we get there late evening and only really sleep there.
@@robandalicruisetravel awesome ill have a look at the hotel you just mentioned:) id found a 2 bedroom apartment at the mantra sydney central for 3 people for 3 nights for just over 1200 dollars, it was around the cheapest for those dates. 90 per cent of the other places i have looked at for us are a mimimum of `1500 and thats a bit too much for us
We stayed in the main Rendezvous Hotel 3 months ago, and the decor, condition etc were exactly the same as your historic house. Tired, dated, dusty, and the carpet was foul! But location, cannot fault.
Hi Rob and Ally, we love watching your videos. Just a quick question you may not be able to answer but thought I would ask. We are going on P&O Encounter in October my daughter is travelling with her 9 month old baby. Wondering if you know if the buffet or dining rooms would puree or mash meats and veg/fruit for babies or not. Enjoy your Disco cruise cannot wait to see you both in your outfits
Hi Amanda. To be honest, we don't know. I would say not much chance in the buffet but the restaurant staff might be able to help. As a suggestion why not pick up a USB blender and then if they can't your daughter could do it herself. We are on the Encounter in October as well. Which cruise are you on?

The usb blenders are fantastic and blend everything easily and are very easy to wash. Very lightweight also. There is a separate video by RobandAli on usb blenders.
We have stayed at both Rendezvous and the Rydges( Sydney Harbour hotel), the later for us, not the steps at the later, much easier & so is the walk& we aren't known to cruise light🫣

Such a shame as it could be a fantastic hotel. We hope they are in the process of renovating.
